Cooking Chukkar
Nita's Chukkar Recipie
Here goes, warning though, I don't tend to measure
ingredients.
Chukkar breast (boned & split in half)
Wrap each piece with a strip of bacon
Pan brown hot and quick
Remove when juice runs clear
Lower heat and add flour to pan to make a roux (sp??)
Then add milk to make a thickened sauce
When ready to remove from heat had 1/2 pint sour cream
Salt & pepper to taste
Serve with wild rice, fresh asparagus, rhubarb pie, and good
wine.
