1998: Jill sent us information on clubs, shows, and this
picture of her dog. She can be reached at Tierahtoo@aol.com
Jill got her first Vizsla through the"Dog World"
magazine puppy placement program in 1979. "Rosie" very
quickly moved in and took over the household, and week end
camping trips turned into 4-5 hour drives to Tacoma and Seattle
for dog shows. 11 months, an OFA, and, 24,000 miles
later,"Rosie" finished her championship with 14 year
old Jill in tow.
Jill's parent breathed a sigh of relief, because now Jill
wanted to breed "Rosie" which meant they would get four
months to relax from the show circuit. Boy were they
surprised....and the name "Tierah Vizslas" was born. In
1987 Jill married Paul Markham and added the Rottweilers
("Rotten dogs") to the managerie.

"Baron" was from the last litter bred by Beryl K
Taylor. He finished his American championship with three majors,
two won on the west coast, and one on the eastern seaboard. He
finished his International and German championships in 3
consecutive shows, and the Canadian championship in less then one
month. He was the first Vizsla registered with the Phillipine
Canine Club, and to our knowledge, he was the first American bred
Vizsla to finish his German Welt-schon sieger (WSCH).
